We’re working with a leading international Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation (MEP/E&I) services provider, delivering complex industrial and energy projects across Europe. Due to sustained growth in their industrial division, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced E&I Lead Engineer to join their expanding team in Luleå, Sweden.]]=
As E&I Lead Engineer, you will take ownership of all electrical and instrumentation engineering activities across the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership – Plan, coordinate, and deliver all E&I engineering works in line with project timelines, budget, and quality expectations.
Technical Oversight – Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure full compliance with client and industry standards.
Team Management – Lead and mentor engineers, supervisors, and technicians, ensuring effective team performance and resource utilisation.
Quality & Safety Assurance – Champion the highest standards of E&I quality and safety in accordance with Swedish and EU regulations.
Coordination & Communication – Act as a key liaison between the project management, construction, commissioning, and client teams, resolving technical issues and ensuring seamless delivery.
About You
Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering, or a relevant trade qualification.
8+ years’ experience in a senior E&I role within large-scale industrial, manufacturing, or process plant environments.
Strong understanding of electrical design, instrumentation systems, and industrial automation.
Proven experience leading E&I project teams on major EPC or construction projects.
Must hold an EU passport or Right to Work in Sweden.
